A Mortgage Industry veteran spanning 5 decades, Harry co-founded Capital Mortgage Funding in the spring of 1992 with partner Dan Burke. Throughout the years Capital Mortgage Funding has been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies and consistently ranked as one of the largest independent mortgage bankers in Michigan. While responsible for all day to day activities, Harry is a direct endorsed Housing and Urban Development Underwriter and with an award winning staff that prides itself on hands on customer contact and relationship building, Capital Mortgage Funding has been named multiple times by the Detroit Free Press as one of the BEST WORKPLACES and Harry being nominated by a local radio station as an entrepreneur of the year. As co-host and creator of the Hardcore Mortgage and Real Estate radio program which can be heard every Saturday morning from 9:00am-10:00am.on 97.1 FM the company promotes various helpful hints and dispenses valuable consumer advice. Also previously voted as one of Crain’s Detroit Business “Top 40 Under 40” business professionals and bestowed the honor of Top 500 most influential business people in Metropolitan Detroit by DBUSINESS magazine, Harry is extremely active in community service and charitable events. Previously Co-founder of the Michael Yendick Foundation for Children, a foundation in conjunction with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, raised money each year to send children to summer camp for a week that is fully medically staffed so the campers can enjoy their experience of a lifetime. Recognized for community service Harry was named person of the year in the Great Lakes Region in a ceremony held at Comerica Park in Detroit. For 13 years Harry has been an assistant varsity baseball and basketball coach at a local high school and continues to Business Coach year round.
